Cristina Morales Vega is a Mental Health Services Coordinator with the Los Angeles County of Department of Mental Health at Harbor-UCLA Adult Outpatient Psychiatry Clinic. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the California State University, Long Beach in 2004. She provided case management services at the Adult Outpatient Clinic for six years. Currently, she coordinates the Prevention and Early Intervention services including the collection and tracking of outcome measures for the Spanish Clinic. She also assigns cases with the Spanish speaking referrals for individual and/or group therapy. There are several groups and activities scheduled for the clients to participate in within each outpatient clinic at Harbor-UCLA (Adult Outpatient Psychiatry, Dual Diagnosis Program, Field Capable Clinical Services Program, and the Wellness Center) she collaborates with the group facilitators to ensure the calendar is up to date, then distributes the information to all clinical staff and trainees. As a member in the safety committee, she ensures all DMH regulations are in compliance.
